The importance of a website can not be overemphasized as it stands now. The world we live in is virtually digital. Let us take a case in point whereby I am a new business owner who clearly wants to be known and also wants to advance in the economic and social sectors of the society. What better way to market my brand than having a website. A website is simply an interconnection of several web pages. Definitely, there are people who are very good at strategic marketing and who can create awareness for your business than you could ever imagine, but this does not dispute the fact that there are people and places websites reach which these marketing experts can not reach. What then are some of the benefits of owning a business website for your business ?

If you have and you still do not feel the need to own a business website, then you need a rethink. The cost of flyers, and billboards, the cost of paying employed marketers, not that your business does not need these things, but with a business website in existence, you would need less marketers, less billboards, and less flyers. It is quite pertinent to note here then, that the website has a wider reach than any other style of advertising you may be considering.

2) EASE OF ACCESS: Of what use is the knowledge your customers have of your business if they can’t reach you anytime they want to? This way, your customers can reach you at any given point in time, from any part of the world.

3) TARGETS A WIDER MARKET: If I wanted to make a purchase, I would first make enquiries online, so would so many thousands of other people. Ninety three percent of every business purchase decisions starts with a search engine, with Google as the largest, which has about six out of every ten searches. What then does this imply?  It simply implies that, if you own a business, and you do not own a website, then you would only be interacting with by far less than half of the world’s population, which is simply seven percent.

Conclusively, in this digital age, it is very essential for every business to own a business website as this increases the professionalism of your business and establishes it’s credibility. People become more interested in your business through what is seen and heard about your business, the more reason why your website has to be responsive, mobile friendly with very good ( SEO ) Search Engine Optimization. It is also very necessary to note that websites are a link between you, and the outside world, this means that your website has to denote the nature of your business in order to attract the kinds of clients you want.
